ABOUT

Empathy, authenticity and unconditional positive regard are at the forefront of my therapy practice. My approach is holistic, integrative and evidence-based. I treat the “whole person”- mind, body, emotions and spirit, in a supportive, safe environment, while helping you to define and work towards the goals you set out to achieve.

I work with adults experiencing struggles with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, life transition, self-esteem, relationship concerns and perinatal and maternal mental health.

I am Certified as a Mindfulness Mentor from Banyan, instructed by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield and also attained a certification in Reconciliation of Traumatic Memories Protocol (RTM), helping clients with PTSD symptoms.

I hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University.

The therapeutic modalities I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCT) and Emotion Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT).

I am grateful to have worked with notable figures (below) in the mindfulness field on retreats, trainings and seminars.

Their books and teachings have been an inspiration to the foundation of my practice.
